Tribal Council Meeting-May 2025

The annual cemetery clean-up will follow the meeting. Maintaining the cemetery is vital to the Burt Lake Band, as it honors the ancestors who endured displacement and preserves the Band’s cultural and spiritual heritage. It serves as a sacred space for remembrance, connection, and  t he continuation of traditional practices across generations. This is our chance to honor our ancestors. Please join us and bring leaf blowers, rakes and tarps if you have them.
